The AspectFT-Matrix Area Controller is a base hardware platform designed
to provide flexible area control applications to a building automation
system. Through use of AAM’s Facilitating Technology (FT), AspectFT, the
AspectFT-Matrix Area Controller can provide traditional control features
such as alarming, trending, scheduling, and extensive custom programming.
Also included are next-generation features such as the ability to push
and pull data with popular networked databases, and to serve graphical
user interface pages - thus eliminating the need for a dedicated operator
workstation or expensive add-on software to view a system.
Features
- Interacts seamlessly with American Auto-Matrix PUP and BACnet
protocol products, as well as other third-party protocols such as Modbus
- Provides alarm, trend, schedule, energy management, and custom
program sequencing capabilities.
- Java-based graphical user interface, accessible from most standard
web-browsers and does not require proprietary software plug-in.
- Comprehensive user and group-based security
- Master Schedule and Calendar implementation – can interact with
iCalendar format tools such as Microsoft Outlook 2007, Google Calendar,
and other popular programs.
- Licensed to communicate between up to four Matrix Area Controllers via
the FTNet protocol.
- AAM products can be programmed and flash updated over IP through
this AspectFT device.
- RSS Feeds (Real Simple Syndication) - can be enabled to send data
points to an RSS Feed Reader. (Logon to the Toolbox to download AAM’s
Aspect Viewer)
- SQLite, USB accessed licensable Local Storage Option
